Mollie Ray Committee
HBA adopted Mollie E. Ray Elementary School in 2002, when it was the only elementary school in Orange County to receive two failing grades on the FCAT grading system. Since then, the school’s FCAT rating has steadily improved, reaching a pinnacle in 2005 when the school received an A. The school currently stands at a B. The HBA provides classroom mentors, sponsors campus beautification projects, school assemblies, field trips and fundraisers. The Mollie Ray Committee assists in recruiting volunteers, planning and executing school events and fundraisers.
